Food sells on how it looks
Wilde Thyme had the hard part solved: a product people came back for. What it did not have was a shop that made that obvious to someone who had never tasted it.
Stock imagery is death for a small-batch food brand. If the photo on the product page could be anyone’s soup, the page is selling a category, not your kitchen.
What we did
- Built the storefront on WooCommerce so the team owns the catalogue outright
- Shot the product photography ourselves, in-house, product by product
- Structured products so seasonal lines can come and go without a rebuild
- Set it up so the team adds a new soup themselves, without calling us
Live audit score
Measured 24 September 2026
Scored with SEO Score API, the same engine behind our free audits. We re-run it on every site we host, so this number is current rather than a launch-day screenshot.
Where it stands
The store runs on our managed hosting, so core, plugin and theme updates are applied and verified rather than left to pile up. As of this writing the site scores 89.7/100 — an A — on our own audit — comfortably above most independent food retailers we look at.
The point of the work was never the launch. It was that four years later the team still updates it themselves and it still loads properly.
