What we look after every month
WordPress, its plugins and its theme all ship updates on their own schedules. Skipping them is how most small business sites get hacked or quietly break. We apply them, then check your site still works.
Core software updates
WordPress releases core updates regularly, including security fixes. We test and apply them so you are never running a version with known holes.
Plugin updates
Plugins add the features your site depends on, from mailing lists to online stores. Updates bring fixes and security patches. We apply them and check nothing broke.
Theme updates
Your theme controls how the site looks. Even when the design is not changing, the code underneath needs updating. We keep it current without changing your layout.
Daily backups
A copy of your site and database is taken every day. If an update or a mistake breaks something, we can restore a working version.
Uptime monitoring
We watch your site around the clock and are alerted when it goes down, usually before you or your customers notice.
A person who answers
When something looks wrong, you email or call the person who looks after your site. No ticket queue and no call centre.

What does a WordPress maintenance plan include?
Core, plugin and theme updates applied and checked, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and a person to contact when something looks wrong. For sites on our managed hosting, all of that is included in the $35 monthly price.
Can you maintain a site that is not hosted with you?
Yes. We can look after a WordPress site on another host with a custom plan, quoted per site. Many clients move to our hosting instead, because updates, backups and monitoring are then handled in one place for one price.
What happens if an update breaks my site?
We check the site after every round of updates. If something breaks, we roll back to the last working backup and sort out the conflict before trying again, so your visitors keep seeing a working site.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Hosting is billed monthly with no setup fee and no long-term contract. If you leave, we hand over your files, database and domain cleanly. You own your site.
Need a different plan?
No problem. If your site needs more than routine care, such as regular content updates or ongoing development, tell us what you need and we will put together a plan that fits.
